I think I had a nice dose of reality today.
I went to get my oil changed, and I called ahead of time to find out how much it would be to get an oil change and an air filter change. They told me it would be about 33.50. I thought that was ok, so I took out 75 bucks to fill up my truck, get the work done at jiffy lube, and buy a break light, and fuel injection cleaner. I put 26 bucks into my tank, paid about 5 bucks for the FI cleaner, and the light bulb, and ended up paying 55 bucks for the "33.50" oil change. That I suppose is how the real world works... and I dont like it one bit.
Oh well, next weekend is father daughter fishing weekend. Nothing but me my dad and fishing. No mom. No brother. No homework. It will be wonderful...
