Okay.
You'll never guess what was just revealed to me.
First of all, this post will make much more sense if you have visited Bonsai Kitten, a website about stuffing kittens into little glass jars, first. If you haven't, then simply click on the link provided by James and check it out.
Now, i was sitting here talking about the bonsai kitten, and sending kristen to check out the site, when she stops me in mid-explanation of what it was by saying, "Oh...is that where they take kittens and stuff them in glass jars with an IV tube."
Immediately i was frozen. How could she have known about it? As James and I had assumed, we figured that it was merely just a joke site making fun of something, or just trying to be funny. As it turns out though, this Bonsai Kitten thing is real.
Kristen read about it in some Mexican magazine in a Spanish class.
Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen. Not only do other cultures eat cats and dogs...apparently they are facinated by shoving these things into jars and growing them into weird and explicit body shapes. So i am left wondering a couple of things.
Now i know that a good social scientist, whether in sociology, psychology, or anthropology, has to take culture into account and be culturally relative...be somewhat accepting. But i ask:
WHAT THE FUCK?!
Oh well, anyway, i just wanted to update everyone with that little bit of news that i learned about the fabulous new art form of bonsai kittens.
The world truly is a scary place.
p/s. Oh, and yeah, i figured Planet of the Apes would suck... I don't think its even possible anymore to recreate classic movies. Maybe i'm wrong. What do you think jimmoi. After all, when it comes to movies, you are the one among us.
Also, aaron has given me inspiration, and so i have come up with an idea. I have created a simulated world as well. It represents what would have happened if jimmoi and zach had moved in together. Let's just say that things are looking quite interesting. I should have some stuff ready to post in a day or two.
