Time is getting older..............

Today isn't a new day or an unlived day, rather, today is 17 years ago yesterday... Some say, and I too said this once, time is like a river with new fresh water ever rushing past. I have found something different about it.... I wake up today and look into the mirror. I see my face, old, worn, tired... It's not that my face is old or that it ever can be. It's time that is becoming old. When you are younger and fresher and newer it's ever so surprising. Every moment has an unlived flavor, a freshness, crispness and excitement to it. It's not a river really at all, it's like a water ride at the park. The water recirculates over and over back through the system. When you are first starting out all the moments rush past new and unforseen. After some time there isn't one new drop of water... there isn't one new moment of time..Everything has a stangance to it. Like it's been set outside too long. Something in the newness is gone, what remains, is soiled by the past...... Time is circulating , aging, ......... growing colder.......................... FIN Regards MIKE
