You argue that nothing we do has meaning.....and in the larger sense, it doesn't. That's a big part of why we still have religion-so that people can feel important (but we won't go into that again).

When you look at the smaller picture, that is, everything that surrounds us on a day-to-day basis, and all that has direct effect on what happens to us and what we become, we can control it. Create meaning. Make it fucking matter. Seriously-if you feel life has no meaning, it won't. That's not to say that I believe you can actually find meaning, or that it really can matter. We don't really count for anything, all that mankind is-well it ain't much. I suppose I'm saying, and this is profound-
