anywho...
we will begin with what I listened to in the car enroute to work today,
while ( i must mention ) I drove by cars decorated with american flags.
... three of them, to be exact. and two mortorcycles.
Play it again and again and again
Until ya mind is locked in
Believin' all the lies that they're tellin' ya
Buying all the products that they're selling ya
They say jump
Ya say how high
Ya brain dead
Ya got a fuckin' bullet in ya head
Just victims of the in-house drive-by
They say jump, you say how high
Ya standin' in line
Believin' the lies
Ya bowin' down to the flag
Ya got a bullet in ya head
Ya standin' in line
Believin' the lies
Ya bowin' down to the flag
Ya got a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
a bullet in ya head
Ya got a bullet in ya fuckin' head.
fun fun. I was feeling a bit pestered and "stamped out" by the seemingly newly acquired sense of pride in the country.
did you hear on the radio that MOBY is getting FLAK for insinuating that the FBI and CIA are responsible for the whole "tragedy" - and he might have lost a close friend in the whole ordeal... ordeal -- I prefer that word over " tragedy " --- the coming couple of months will seem like one big long fourth of july. You can hear it on the radios, too. All day I listened to the radio, being that I was on wetlok and had nothing better to do. And guess what. COMMERCIALS are quick to run in. Every other commercial, be it about carpeting, cleaning supplies, LAZE-BOY couches - you name it / had some sort of plug about " American freedom " and so on.
{ cue patriotic music }
I almost cried, really.
On the oldies station I heard the rendition of " America, America, God shed his face ( yes, face ) on thee. "
FIVE TIMES in EIGHT HOURS.
in closing.
this is the best country to be living in, at the moment.
I say again, the best.
but it doesnt mean that there never will be anything better.
or that there is no other possiblity of something being better.
and I dont believe much in patriotism. and nationalism.
go figure.
Yes, I know my enemies
They're the teachers who taught me to fight me
Compromise
Conformity
Assimiliation
Submission
Ignorance
Hyporicsy
Brutality
The elite
All of which are American dreams
All of which are American dreams
All of which are American dreams
All of which
are American dreams
