I believe it will be about 7 days till both Denmark, Germany, (and France for Bonnie) before I leave!!! I bought a phrase book tonight, which tells me how to complain in German. Can you tell it was written by an American? This will be fun. I just hope I make it there.
Apparently I will also be staying in Magdeburg, which was new info to me.
To be perfectly honest, I wont miss any of you. I probably wont even miss my family. Maybe my dog... I might be able to "post" while in Deutschland, but I cant promise anything. If I do I will keep it in english for y'all. I am thinking about permenantly staying in Europe, so this will be like a visit to check out my real estate. We'll see.
As for recent news? Im getting a chinchila named charlie. My mother found my pet mouse that I had been hiding from her, and she gave it away while I was in Eastern WA, for Staff Selection for boot camp this summer. Im going to miss Mr.Bojangles.

Here i am, coming to you from the Odegaard Computer center. I would be copying my movie to a video cassette about now, but someone is using the exact same computer that i was using for my project, and the movie is saved there. Now, i would have backed it up to something else, but unfortunately, the file is so large that it has to remain on the original computer. This sucks.

The thing that bugs me the most about it though is that this guy on the computer, which is right behind me, is doing something using Adobe Photoshop, and probably a scanner. He is not using the video equipment. That's the part that is pissing me off. I need to use the video equipment. He could have easily gone to a different computer to do his work. But hey, maybe i'm wrong and he is using it, or was. Argh.

Well, this is not all wasted time, i am going to scan some pictures that i have been meaning to, and maybe even post a couple here.

Well, i am thinking strongly about coming down tomorrow and staying for wednesday as well. I was actually thinking of coming down today, but i don't know how i'd get anywhere, or get anybody to pick me up on such short notice. Plus, i have somethings to take care of up here...

Although, i'd much rather like it if someone did come up to see me this week, cause i have the place to myself, and many resources that come with staying at the UW. Video editing software and computers is just one example. Oh, think of the movies we could make then.

Anyway, the only problem with going down there is that i need a place to stay. I mean, i could stay at my house, but i really really don't want to...i'd much rather be stricken with all ten plagues then do that...though i probably will if i have to.

Actually, i was gonna ask you, james, if i could stay at your place for a day or so...probably tuesday night. I was considering you or justin, but i have yet to make up my mind.

Well, right now i am talking to jimmy and zach online. They are doing the apartment hunting thing.

I need to do that as well...but later.

Midday Awakening

Just woke up from sleep. Y'know, i think this is the first time that i have ever woken up, while sleeping in the dorms, at this time of the day {11:15 am}. I was up till around 3:45 this morning playing "Perfect Dark" and downloading UTdemo from fileplanet.com.

I wouldn't have had to do that if i only kept the copy of the full game james gave me, but no...i didn't because it took up too much space...
wait, that was a valid reason for getting rid of it.

Anyway, james if you can get me a copy of the full game on a CD, i would be appreciative...
but you don't have too.

The idea of having a second adminstrator sort of just popped in my head at an early hour last night, so i probably wasn't very awake or thinking straight.

Still, now that i think about it, its not a bad idea...but of course whoever was it would have to follow guidelines...and of course would have to be trustworthy.

In truth, i am mostly against having any administrator at all...purely because i am against changing other people's posts.

But there were some good points brought up last time i argued against having anybody who can do that.

I figure, with two administrators, it will lighten the load on james...plus, if he can't post, or doesn't do it for awhile, because of being busy or some other reason, then it would be good to have two.

Quick question though...does the administrator have the power to invite and add other people to the board?

Gotta go, need to shower and eat, and work on some stuff today. However, if someone {hint hint}, wants to come up here and visit me, come on up.

1: it is not my fault that i tell you to look at the board and you use a defunct P-05 to view it with. that is entirely your responsibilty to use a computer with some sense of ... i dont know what i'm saying

2: getting ready to go to school today - yes late - to get GED information and drop a bunch of stuff off - ... nothing new there.

3: about other administrators : pending : merely because of several reasons >>> I DONT TRUST PEOPLE WELL - and they could easily just start deleting people every-which way. Not only that - but make drastic changes to the template - and ruin the whole shibang. Not to imply that any of you would - merely that some people get emotional and enjoy taking it out on collaborated pieces of work. I know that I'd never do that. anywho > i'd be up for it - merely so it doesn't make me look as tolitalitarian as i am. hee hee hee.

4: as for "black-listing" you should all understand that I enjoy throwing buzz-words around. after talking to one of the "rarely postees" i came up with the concept that instead of entirely deleting them ( reguardless - erica x has asked to depart ... feh ) i'll just have a special section dedicated to "people who rarely post but come by every once and awhile to say something" - PWRPBCBEO - ASS - yeup.

Well, i finallly got my computer back. That means my posting ability has been upped back to normal. Also, i continue to work on my video post.

Right now i'm playing Cruis'n Exotica. I think i'll go to the lounge...

DAMN fsck...they locked the lounge because some dumn fsck stole the TV's from two lounges on different floors...WTF?

but the biggest question that rocks me on that one is how the hell does someone steal a 27" T.V. and not get noticed...

oh well...its not totally impossible to watch three cars racing on a four way split screen...

I will vote on the whole jimmy thing, as to which girl. So tell me, whatever one we choose, does that actually mean we are going to try to set him up with that set prospective woman. I would find that rather...funny {for lack of a better term}.

Hey, we should get a new administrator...well, not a new one, but a second one. I am working on a project which would shed some light as to who would be a good candidate for that position, though it would still be up to james largely, and the group of post-ers, secondly.

As to the idea of blacklisting, i wouldn't go for it. Sometimes people hit slumps, as hopefully i can illustrate, but for that part, not for a while. That is a good deal of data to consider.

Anyway, i have some stuff to do for now, but i will post something later.

Ok I never did explain Mandelbrot. It came from a couple things. 1: I wanted to see how long I could repetitively say something that didn’t have any apparent meaning before someone said something. It took a while. 2: I was making a vague reference to the fact that we all do the same meaningless crap repetitively and on many different levels, and all in all it always seems the same. If you know what a Mandelbrot set is, you’ll understand what that means.

I really don’t know what’s been going on here, I haven’t been reading posts for a while. Been watching movies. Twelve Monkeys is one of the best of all time. Check out BMWFilms.com. The movies there kick ass. Guy Richie (sp?) directed the latest of the four currently out. The guy that did Crouching Tiger did another. They are all around six minutes....quite good.

Soap Lake {the town} is a pit. It’s a lousy little wide spot in the road between one flatland and another. The goal I have had every time I’ve been through there is to be going as fast as humanly possible to get it behind me quickly. The actual lake of Soap Lake is really rather nice, just stay away from the inhabited end.

I was never put on the “Becca” bill......still not sure why. They only bitched at me for skipping once. And that was just a “don’t do it again,” not any actual punishment. I guess they just figured all those times the teacher forgot to mark me present. Fsck if I know, but there were some classes I only went to a few times. Monroe comes to mind.....my overall in that class was 36%.....she was like “I have to fail you,”.... but I didn’t get in any trouble for the shite I did. (or didn’t do) The laziness and corruptibility of Vaughn had no small part in it. The man can be paid off with a 49 cent cheeseburger. Or just simply talk about fishing with him. I don’t fish, but I could BS well enough to get out of being written up. Tate gave me at least a dozen warnings. Then there were the times the gate was unguarded or we went through transportation......crazy shite.....
